IT’S AN ASK

It’s that time of year when many of us reflect. Leading us to be resolute. Often culminating in a resolution.

Because of what I do for a living, I’ve seen these types of resolutions pertaining to fitness often.

I’ve been in the fitness business for 35+ years, owning my own gym for more than 10 years.
I’ve seen these resolutions begin and end in failure.

So as a trainer I’ve asked myself, ‘Why do these resolutions for people keep repeating themselves?’

If you’ve heard this once, you’ve heard it 1000 times, ‘Crazy is repeating the same behavior and expecting a different outcome.’

I think that’s a sentiment that most of us would agree with, right?

It’s not the resolution, it’s the person.

As parents, if our child was struggling in a particular study, if we couldn’t help them ourselves, we would get them a tutor. Tutoring is to teach or guide usually individually in a special subject or for a particular purpose. Most of us would agree there is no negative connotation to tutoring. Which leads me to ponder, ‘Why don’t we think this way in terms of our own fitness?’

My conclusion is this, I think that we’re too proud to admit we can’t do it on our own. And as a result, we’re too proud to ask for help.

I’ll be 58 years old soon and this means that 60 is just around the corner. I’ve been exercising my entire life, but even so, I feel I have to take care of my body now more than ever before. And for those who haven’t had exercise and fitness impact their lives on a daily basis, it’s even more important to implement that discipline now. And to do it STRAIGHT AWAY.

I say it’s not too late to start and it’s never too late to ask for help.

If you agree, exercise and fitness should be near the top of your priority list.

I can help you near or far. In-person or online.

I’d like to be your Personal Trainer.
