About Me
Way back when I was an adolescent, organized basketball was the first direction I went. I had a great coach who taught me many things. Even today, true is how it still rings. Later football took center stage. On the gridiron I began to rage. After injury ended a promising college career in both sports, times were a bit strange. It was during this time in college I fell in love with weight training, along with all the muscle I began gaining. Additionally, it transformed other areas of my life. I discovered sovereignty and freedom through discipline. A confidence and inner strength deep within.
I realized I wanted to share this gift I’d been granted. Rooted in me now. Deeply planted. Thirty-five years later and still going strong. Some told me’ “You can’t make a career out of this!” Clearly they were wrong.
More often than not my impact on my clients stretches well beyond pumping iron, prescribing cardio, or improving ones eating habits. It’s getting them to take new ownership, find their true selves, through change of perspective and emotional “Admits.” Like the widow who was barely holding on, found me and committed to training 3 times a week. Seven years later we’re still going strong.
Or the young man that was struggling with self-esteem issues, now can look you in the eye and actually enjoys engaging with others.
And the divorced man with health issues, determined to lose weight and improve his health, met and exceeded his goals and is now dating.
Fitness is more than just altering your external shell. It’s our entire being. My approach comes from that place. You can’t change your body, if you don’t change the mind.
